The Orthodox Easter in the Saint Catherine Martyr Church of Rome, Italy. It took place between the seventh and the eighth of April of 2018, Saturday and Sunday. The Church was inaugurated in Rome the 23rd of May of 2009 and is attended by Ukrainians, Russians and Moldavians. On the eve of Saturday, after the end of the morning service and throughout the day the hieromonk of the parish, Ambrose, consecrated Easter cakes and other Easter dishes. In the evening, at 10 PM, the reading of the Acts of the Apostles began. The divine liturgy was then held at midnight, and finished around 3 in the morning. After that, the first Easter meal started. It has had been prepared throughout the day by volunteers.
